It's fair to say that Mayo's Kobe McDonald is the most highly-rated talent since the emergence David Clifford, who made his championship debut back in 2018.
Since then, the Kerry icon has has gone on to win two All-Ireland titles, a record three GAA Footballer of the Year awards, and is regarded by many as the greatest of all time.
The hype for the AFL-bound McDonald has grown exponentially over the last year, and the 18-year-old has more than lived up to the hype in his first few games for his county's senior side.
The Crossmolina man scored 1-4 in his debut during a league game against Monaghan, and was his side's second top scorer, with 0-06, in the Connacht SFC loss to Roscommon.

Speaking about McDonald's rise, Clifford touched on his own experiences as a hyped-up youngster, and praised his inter-county rival for thriving in a 'tough' situation.
Clifford said: “It’s not that long ago, but I can barely remember what it felt like.
“Look, I suppose while there’s hype, you’re still trying to find your feet as a young player.
“Me anyway, I probably didn’t fully believe that I was…you’re not fully sure whether you’re at that level.
“Of course there’s hype, but does the hype really matter unless you’re performing?
“He clearly is performing, so he’s obviously doing fine.
“In terms of the hype stuff, you could say that there’s a pressure, but you probably put a lot of pressure on yourself anyway so I don’t think it makes a huge difference.
“Obviously, it’s tough to try and break in, but I suppose you just try and give it your best shot.”
