He would be a massive loss!

Dublin fans may be feeling a similar pain to their Mayo rivals very soon.

Reports have come out that a number of AFL clubs are looking at potentially signing Dublin minor star, Cian Raftery.

The 16-year-old was called up to the minors this year, and scored a whopping 2-20 in three group games.

The clubs said to be taking an interest in the Whithall Colmcille man are St Kilda, Sydney Swans, Melbourne Demons, Brisbane Lions and new franchise Tasmania Devils.

This comes after a summer dominated by headlines about Mayo's Kobe McDonald and his move to Melbourne side St Kilda.

The GAA have also been in talks with the AFL over the introduction of measures to curb the flow of young players switching to Aussie Rules, which you can read more about here.
