Cricketer remembered inside and outside the dressing room just two weeks after his death

There have been many many tributes to Philip Hughes since his shock death but today’s may very well be the most poignant and heartfelt.

Hughes was included as the ’13th man’ for Australia’s test against India at the Adelaide Oval, their first match since the shocking events of last month:

The Australian team are wearing his Test cap number, 408, and to remember his score of 63 not out, there was a spine-tingling standing ovation just moments after a fantastic and very emotional speech from Richie Benaud.

Australia Captain Michael Clarke who has been just unbelievable coping with the death of his friend in recent week,s also said ‘I know my little buddy would want the team to go out and play good cricket.’
