The Wexford County Board has called off three club football championship games to facilitate the senior intercounty footballers ahead of their Leinster SFC first round tie with Laois next month.
The Intermediate Football Championship matches between Adamstown and Ballyhogue, Volunteers and St Patrick's and the Junior Football Championship clash between Starlights and Rathgarogue-Cushinstown have all been called off after they had been rescheduled for this Friday night.
The Wexford county board said that the games had been fixed in error but that they had been rescheduled for the weekend of May 18th-20th, the weekend before Wexford would play Kildare in the Leinster Senior Football Championship quarter-finals should they defeat Laois next month.
