The match was quite close at one stage, with 18 minutes on the clock the sides were level 0-7 to 2-1 but that was as good as it got for Kerry and Limerick upped the gears and powered home to an emphatic victory.
Two goals from Graeme Mulcahy and Tom Morrissey helped Limerick to a 10 point lead at half time.
In the second half, it was a complete blitz from the Shannonsiders and Na Piarsiagh club man Ronan Lynch, paved the way with an incredible haul.
The All-Ireland club medalist hit a devastating 3-11 (1-3 from play) to ensure Limerick picked up their first win of this year's league campaign.
