James Haskell reveals Lions latest stash delivery and we’re extremely jealous

James Haskell experienced a winning feeling in a British & Irish Lions jersey for the first time and he is in even bubblier form than usual.

The Wasps and England flanker has hit social media hard since being called up to replace Billy Vunipola in the Lions squad.

He is rooming with Sean O’Brien on the tour and the pair have sparked up quite the comedic package, with excellent Instagram posts and Snapchat updates.

Following the Lions’ 34-6 whomping of the Chiefs, on Tuesday, Haskell shared a Waikato Draught with Mitchell Brown in the home side’s dressing room. A winner, at last.

Haskell then shared some great behind-the-scenes looks from Lions camp as the midweek side revelled in their first tour victory.

On the bus trip after the match, he took part in a joyfully woeful rendition of ‘The World’s Greatest’ – that R Kelly song made famous [again] by Jimmy Bullard and his non-league football side, Leatherhead FC. Not everyone appreciated the tune though…

Back at the team hotel, Haskell revealed that there had been a new delivery to add to all the sweet, sweet stash the Lions players have already received.

There, in the team room, were Beats Br Dre headphones for certain squad members that, according to Haskell, “qualify” to wear them. Whether this depends on sponsorship deals or Lions’ squad committees, it remains to be seen.

More headphones for the lads so.

Sean O’Brien already has a nifty green pair but he surely wouldn’t say no to a second.

Only three weeks back, it was Haskell that showed off his Lions stash and it included these nifty pieces of kit from Sony.

This, of course, adds to the lump of gear each and every Lion received when they first met up for Player Admin Day, last month.

We’re green with envy.
