Ireland never looked like winning this morning's Test match against New Zealand at Eden Park, but it could have been a lot closer had calls gone their way.
A dangerous clearout from Luke Jacobson on Josh van der Flier was not upgraded to a red card, with the TMO giving some questionable mitigation.
Referee Nic Berry was extremely strict at the breakdown, and on a few occasions refused to let Ireland compete when a poach looked odds on.
In the Virgin Media studios, Peter O'Mahony was particularly animated and critical of Berry, and in particular over a deliberate knock-on call in the 60th minute.
All Black's outside centre, Quinn Tupaea, knocked the ball on with one hand when diving to intercept a pass from Bundee Aki to Tadhg Beirne, with a certain linebreak on for Ireland had the ball reached Beirne.
Initially, Berry unbelievably called a knock-on only, before deciding to review the play.
He then called a penalty for Ireland for a deliberate knock-on, but somehow refused to put Tupaea in the sin bin, despite the protestations from Ireland captain Dan Sheehan.
After the game, O'Mahony was particularly heated on the decision, and even apologised to presenter Joe Molloy.
The former Ireland blindside said: "He should have been whistle and walking over with his yellow card out, and just 'good luck' and on we go, like.
"Sorry now, I'm getting carried away."
