While the meaning behind O'Driscoll's tweet is deliberately vague, you can be sure he's not taking Scotland - who beat Ireland in this year's Six Nations and have proven victorious in four of the last 10 meetings between the sides - lightly.
As well as Scotland, Japan will be no pushovers for the Irish team - they will have an entire nation behind them as hosts, and their victory over South Africa during the last World Cup in England remains one of the most remarkable giant-killings in the sport's history.
