It could have been a lot worse for Ireland.

On Wednesday morning, the draw for the 2019 Rugby World Cup took place, and it couldn’t have shaped up much better for Ireland. After a final day win in the Six Nations, Joe Schmidt's side was guaranteed to be a top seed for the competition but with the second seeds containing serious competition - South Africa and Wales to name but two - the draw could have gone against the Irish team. Then this happened... By any reckoning it was the best possible draw Ireland could have got, and Twitter became a happy place for supporters. https://twitter.com/Bernard9129/status/862228302672658432 https://twitter.com/SteKeatinge/status/862228379621351424 https://twitter.com/domgetxo/status/862224709961879552 https://twitter.com/PMoynihan1/status/862224100072321024 https://twitter.com/TheSeanKeyes/status/862223786720075776 https://twitter.com/VirtualDonal/status/862223533304401921 https://twitter.com/JimboBohan/status/862222414285025281 The Scotland fans were also very pleased with their lot. https://twitter.com/DougallChops/status/862228957286064128 https://twitter.com/thatisRON/status/862225447786098688
