There’s some really good news coming out of Formula One today
Two-time world champion Fernando Alonso has uploaded a video message thanking fans for their support following his crash on the final day of the pre-season testing.
There was a lot of concern over the health of the Spanish driver after he was airlifted to hospital following the collision. However, judging by the clip he released today, it appears as though he has come out the other side of the nasty scare like a champ.
He also revealed that he would be taking some time off from driving to fully recover from the incident but he expects to back on the track very soon.
As you can see, I’m completely fine. I would like to be in the test this week in Barcelona but the doctor’s recommendations are to wait a little bit, a couple of days.
I will rest this weekend and I will keep you updated next week on my progress.
See you very soon on the track and thanks for all the support.
