What started life as a seemingly innocuous sparring highlight video has now become a "thing".

For those of you who missed it, Conor McGregor has launched a new documentary series which will be showcased on his very own news site TheMacLife.com. The first installment of the "docu-style" series 'This is The Mac Life' was a highlight video of a recent sparring session with former IBO and IBF welterweight champion Chris van Heerden. The boxer has seen the finished the product, and he's not best pleased. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/750215276927524864 Van Heerden took to Twitter to complain about the clip, accusing the Notorious of using sly video editing techniques to make himself look better. Although he didn't tag McGregor in the tweet, it was clear from the timing that it was aimed at the UFC featherweight champion. The boxer claimed that these low tactics showed him the "real character" of the combat sports superstar. https://twitter.com/TheHeat001/status/750177403276697600 SNAPCHAT
