She's not just a star in the ring, but Katie Taylor can also bring the jokes to the mic.
Following yesterday's iconic event at Croke Park, the Bray woman spoke extensively to the media about the fight and her career as a whole.
Inevitably, she was asked about which actress she would want to play her in a biopic.
She went for one of Ireland's, and indeed one the world's leading actors in Saoirse Ronan, who certainly has the chops to play the fighter, with starring roles in the likes of Atonement, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Lady Bird and Little Women.
However, while Ronan may have the performance skills, her physique might be lacking, with Taylor pointing out a specific body part she will have to work on.
She said: “She’ll have to start working on her neck though. She has a bit of a skinny neck. I have a big fat neck.”
On what she plans to do in the immediate future, Taylor added: “I’d love to stay in boxing so maybe. I’m living in Connecticut at the moment as well so I don’t know how that [Irish aspect] would work. I'm trying to convince my husband to move back home to Ireland with me but I'm not sure that's gone down very well.
“But yeah, we'll see what happens. I would love to stay involved in sport. I think it'd be very strange not to be involved since this has been my whole life for the last 30 years. So we'll see what happens.”
