The UFC needed just a catchy hashtag to put Floyd Mayweather in his place on Rousey comments

The war of words between Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather looks to have a lot of legs yet.

Rowdy and Money have been at odds with each other for some time now and it gained a head of steam after Rousey mocked the undefeated boxer after she was awarded “Best Fighter” honours at his expense at this year’s ESPYs saying “now you know how it feels to be beaten by a woman.”

This week Mayweather responded, saying “I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes. When she can do that, then call me.”

The UFC jumped at the chance to defend their women’s bantamweight champion by saying that Rousey doesn’t need that much time to get the job done, making fun of the fact that Mayweather has gone the distance in each of his last six bouts.

Your move Mayweather.
