Few have had a longer career in the ring than Jones
Big UFC events in Las Vegas tend to attract lots of big names and last night's Anderson v Diaz show was no exception. However, Conor McGregor was delighted to meet just one man, boxing legend Roy Jones Jnr.
Jones has been a star since the 1988 Olympics and since his controversial silver medal there he went on to have a stellar pro carrer, winning titles at weigths ranging from light middleweight to heavyweight, which we doubt will ever be repeated.
That career makes him one of the all-time greats so we're not surprised that McGregor was so happy to have his picture taken with him.

Heartbreaking news just in. Belfast boxer, Paul McCullagh Jr, has died at the age of 25. McCullagh was an Ulster Elite heavyweight champion back in 2019 and won both of his fights as a professional.
