The latest comments from retired undefeated five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr will only add to the clamour for the potential super-fight.
Recently it was revealed that Conor McGregor had applied for a boxing licence with the California State Athletic Commission. Many believe that this was a monumental step in eventually seeing the two come face to face in a boxing ring. There has been plenty of fallout and opinion since then, with Mayweather's team already stating: "If they want to get him (McGregor) killed put him in there in a boxing match."
