He has a point!

Kerry were nearly dumped out of the All-Ireland SFC yesterday, when they narrowly beat Tyrone 2-25 to 0-27.

The Red Hands got back to within a point, but Armin Heinrich's late goal would seal the victory and also put a gloss on the scoreline.

However, Tyrone have reason to feel aggrieved, with some questionable calls going against them, including a linesman error after 64 minutes.

Instead of giving possession back to Tyrone, he wrongly gave a 45 to Kerry - which was DULY popped over the bar - when it clearly went out of play off a Kingdom player.

Speaking on the incident ahead of Louth vs Monaghan, Farney great Conor McManus criticised the decision and posed the idea of introducing VAR into the game.

He said: "At this level it's inexcusable for these sorts of things to be happening.

"Teams are pouring so much into it, they're putting so much time and effort.... and for decisions like that not to be flagged up, not to be seen, I don't know if it's acceptable.

"What do we do? Do we go down the VAR route? I don't know about that.

"I'm assuming from a Tyrone view it's very hard to take."
