Dublin are back in the All-Ireland SFC semi-finals, following their 1-25 to 1-21 win over Galway at Croke Park today.
Despite being six points down in the second half, the Dubs rallied and were soon back in front, with help from a Con O'Callaghan penalty.
Having lost the Leinster final to Westmeath and to Louth in Round 1 of the All-Ireland, the Sky Blues had some soul searching to do.
However, they were boosted by the return of manager Ger Brennan, following his 12-week ban, and produced two of their best performances in wins over Cavan and today's victory.
After the quarter-final win, Dublin keeper Evan Comerford was asked a cheeky question by ex-Monaghan player Conor McManus, regarding Brennan's return.
But the shot-stopper boxed clever and returned a quip of his own.
McManus asked: "Your best performances of the year have come since Ger Brennan is back.
"Is he taking all the credit for that now, is it all on Ger?"
Comerford replied: "You've probably swung that narrative now have you."
He had a great game in the nets and did well not to bite to that question.
