Irish Cancer Society’s Hurling for Cancer Research 2017
15 August 2017; Davy Russell's Best manager Brian Cody in the dressing room before the sixth annual Hurling for Cancer Research game, a celebrity hurling match in aid of the Irish Cancer Society in St Conleths Park, Newbridge. The event, organised by legendary racehorse trainer Jim Bolger and National Hunt jockey Davy Russell, has raised 540,000 to date to fund the Irish Cancer Societys innovative cancer research projects.
