Better late than never as Portaferry’s AIB GAA Club Championship semi-final is moved to Mullingar

Much was made of Portaferry’s long 350km trek to Thurles for this weekend’s AIB GAA Club Championship semi-final against Limerick’s Kilmallock.

The club themselves brushed aside the notion that the long journey might hinder them and even planned to travel to Tipperary for a fraining session ahead of the big game.

But now it would seem that less than 48 hours before the throw-in the venue has been moved to Mullingar.
