VIDEO: Cuddly Nick Kyrgios in the centre of another hilarious spat

God bless his cotton socks

Are you better off with him or without him?

Despite the tantrums and the crude allegations of infidelity it seems Nick Kyrgios’ Davis Cup team-mate Bernard Tomic would prefer to have the temperamental Australian on his team.

At least, that is what we can take from him telling Aussie captain Lleyton Hewitt that Kyrgios was, for the second time, faking illness to get out representing his country.

Speaking at a change of ends during his loss to John Isner, Tomic angrily speaks with Hewitt, telling his captain it’s “bullshit” that Kyrgios is sick.

Fair play to Tomic, he stood by his comments when speaking to the media after the match.

“He didn’t come to Czech [Republic] and had stress fractures and somehow played Indian Wells and felt good,” he said.

“Now it’s going to be funny for me to see whether he plays.”

Unsurprisingly, the outspoken Kyrgios responded on Twitter.

Quite a reasonable response from the volatile 20 year old. Particularly when compared to his initial response, which he swiftly deleted.

“Let’s not forget who holds the quickest loss on the ATP tour lol #howmanyminutesagain,” he tweeted, referring to Tomic’s 28-minute loss to Jarkko Nieminen in Miami in 2014.

There next encounter should be fun.
