Snooker and The Small Faces. A natural fit.
The World Snooker Championships get underway this weekend, and the BBC have rolled out all the stops with their promo this year. And when I say "rolled out all the stops", I mean they made an incredibly trippy promo for it. The Small Faces' Itchycoo Park plays over some funky, kaleidoscopic snooker shots, giving us the urge to tie-dye our t-shirts and buy a Volkswagen van. Oh, apparently it's because it's such "mind-blowing" snooker. I see what they did there. It all reminds us of Lisa's dream while she was getting braces in The Simpsons.Explore more on these topics:
