The Spaniard injured his wrist at Roland Garros last week and has confirmed on his Facebook page that he won't recover in time for this year's Wimbledon.
'Hi everybody. I’m sad to announce that after talking to my doctors, and receiving the results of my last medical revision, I won’t be able to play at Wimbledon this year. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to join in the pre-tournament event #TheBoodles at #Stokepark that I attended in previous years. Thank you all for your support, especially my fans. Your kind messages mean so much to me.'As much as we can all appreciate Djokovic's achievements in the last couple of years, we can't help but wonder how many titles he would've won had 30-year-old Nadal, a 14-time grand slam winner himself, been more fortunate with injuries.
