Genie Bouchard wasn't on her own in thinking Super Bowl LI was as good as settled at half-time.

The Atlanta Falcons were 21-3 up on the New England Patriots, a lead that would be extended by a further seven points in the third quarter. A surely insurmountable lead, if Tom Brady et al were going to end the night on the winning side, they'd have to stage the kind of comeback never seen before in Super Bowl history. With all this in mind, the Canadian tennis star fired off the following tweet. https://twitter.com/geniebouchard/status/828403616180498433 Step forward the hero of this particular tale. Seeing Genie's tweet, Twitter user @punslayintwoods replied by suggesting that he went on a date with her if the Patriots achieved the impossible. https://twitter.com/punslayintwoods/status/828405544901812224 Because that was clearly *never* going to happen, Bouchard agreed. https://twitter.com/geniebouchard/status/828406279882338306 As we all know, the stars aligned for plucky @punslayintwoods.  The Patriots pegged back the Falcons in the final quarter and finished the job in overtime. https://twitter.com/geniebouchard/status/828445038740926464 Not forgetting the deal, Bouchard swiftly set about making arrangements. There was no going back now. https://twitter.com/geniebouchard/status/828442944210403329 And on Wednesday night, Genie granted @punslayintwoods' wish, tweeting the following picture of the pair on their way to the Brooklyn Nets game with Milwaukee Bucks. https://twitter.com/geniebouchard/status/832019611277144064 https://twitter.com/geniebouchard/status/832045228253011968
