An American comedian has found a hilarious use for excessive tennis grunting

This should be the official soundtrack of the French Open.

As tennis players have gotten bigger, faster and stronger over the last 15 years, the volume of their grunts have increased along with it. The problem now is that like vuvuzelas in football, unless you click mute on your remote control, you can’t really do anything to get away from it.

At least American talk show host, Jimmy Fallon, has put the excessive noise to good use. This little symphony made up of screams from the French Open, actually doesn’t sound too bad.

Ah c’mon, the last two people in that video must have been in on the joke, surely?

Regardless, the king of tennis gave Fallon a round of applause, which is the only endorsement you need really.

Hopefully the ridiculousness of this video prompts the top players to put a muzzle on their grunting mouths going forward.
