Tipp and Cork are played out an absolute thriller at Semple Stadium on Sunday. One that suggested Cork are bang with an absolute bang. And a game that stated firmly that the Munster championship is going nowhere. At least it shouldn't anyway.
It was a vintage Munster clash - fast, physical and the skill on show was second-to-none.
There were thirty points shared equally between the sides in the first-half in an open, attacking and free flowing encounter and 56 overall. 56.

The sides had been tit for tat throughout, up until Shane Kingston, the son of Cork manager, Kieran, scrambled home a goal to give The Rebels a three-point lead.
Cork's youngsters were on top form with Luke Meade notching two fine solo-efforts from play while Shane Kingston supplemented his goal with two more fine points from play.
Mark Coleman, meanwhile, was dominant in the half back line.
Tipp's response showed just why they're All-Ireland Champions though.
Although it wasn't to be their day, Seamie Callanan showed just why he's one of the best hurlers in the country, and John McGrath's finish showed just why the Loughmore man is being mentioned as an early contender for hurler of the year.

Brennan acknowledged the decision after the game and said: “Yeah look, myself and the […]
RIP. Tributes have been pouring in from the world of Irish sport, following the passing of broadcasting great Michael Lyster. There were touching scenes at Galway’s clash with Dublin yesterday, while both the Taoiseach and Tánaiste released statements. The legendary RTÉ Marty broadcaster Marty Morrissey also spoke about his former colleague, with a glowing tribute […]
Brutal. Mayo boss Andy Moran has hit back at Joe Brolly, after the pundit criticised his selection against Kerry earlier this month. Mayo were hammered 2-29 to 0-19 that day, with Brolly writing in his column that ex-player Moran was too reliant on his ‘old friends’ group’, referencing players such as Aidan O’Shea, Cillian O’Connor, […]
