There was no separating Tipperary and Kilkenny in Semple Stadium on Saturday evening.

Does anybody from outside those two counties really care though? The result didn't seem to matter much to neutrals as the two hurling titans blessed fans with a cracking game for the ages. In the end, the scoreline read 2-17 Tipperary, 3-14 Kilkenny as both side's shared the spoils of a thrilling draw. John McGrath's brilliant performance was the buzz of Twitter, with some even going as far to claim that he is the best hurler in the country on form. https://twitter.com/me_stafford/status/840659570850684929 https://twitter.com/alanjwaldron/status/840656210651156480 https://twitter.com/peterdwyerkk/status/840656110617010177 https://twitter.com/peterswellman/status/840654782381621250 https://twitter.com/eolanjmccarthy/status/840645285630115840 https://twitter.com/JohnFogartyIrl/status/840642589476937729 https://twitter.com/JP_McG/status/840642310069223424 There's no prizes for guessing who the stand-out player was for the Cats. TJ Reid's penalty-taking masterclass and his outstanding performance overall was enough to earn him the man of the match as well as the praise of the hordes of fans tuning in. He fired home an impressive 3-5, with two goals of those goals coming from penalties and  four points from frees. https://twitter.com/tomas_mulcahy/status/840664735330775042 https://twitter.com/tommydoyle_3/status/840659178234490880 https://twitter.com/ryancorry8/status/840658596027351041 https://twitter.com/joe90kk/status/840654303253676034
