Peter Canavan’s son has scored a goal so good that it shouldn’t be allowed

Peter Canavan was one of the best forwards to have ever played the game, and it looks like he has passed the gift onto his son Darragh. 17-year-old Darragh lined out at centre forward for the Tyrone under-17 team who defeated Roscommon to take the All-Ireland under-17 football title to Ulster. There was only one name on everybody's lips at Croke Park, and that was a name that all football fans are very familiar with. Canavan scored 1-3 from play as he fired the Red Hand county to victory over the Connacht side. Tyrone were much the better team in Croke Park, as they raced into 0-13 to 0-5 point lead at the interval, but to the Rossies' credit, they never gave up as they attempted to restore some pride to their jersey. Tyrone kicked on again, however and ended up winning by nine points with the final scoreline 2-18 to 0-15.
