It's time.

The folks at Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh Hurling club have launched their Fantasy Hurling & Football competitions for the National Leagues. This is the GAA’s version of Fantasy Premier League which has grown and grown over the last few years all over the world. With the return of the National Leagues this weekend, Fantasy GAA begins with a bang on Saturday next, so if you're entering you need to get in quick. You can pick your team for the Football at www.fantasygaelicfootball.com the Hurling at www.fantasyhurling.ie The set up mirrors that of Fantasy Premier League, with mini Leagues, overall competitions and over €2000 in prizes in each competition. Last year during the Championship they added a ‘Club Award’ in which Ruarí Óg Cushendall (Hurling) and Dungannon (Football) picked up €500 for their clubs.

Mini Leagues

Crucially, all clubs and counties have the possibility to create their own mini-leagues, which, as everyone knows from Fantasy Premier League, is crucial to the whole experience. It's some feeling when you're topping the league and leaving your friends and club mates trailing in your wake.
