The Sky Sports deal with the GAA is one that has divided opinion in this country since it became a reality in 2014.
The GAA claim that it is a way of broadening the horizons of the game, of making the game more visible at an international scale.
Many Irish GAA supporters have criticised the deal, however, claiming that GAA supporters are restricted from viewing their national game due to Sky being pay-per-view.
Offaly legend Michael Duignan delivered his verdict on the deal.
"Can I just say another thing before we finish? The biggest disgrace of the weekend was on Saturday evening, that Waterford and Kilkenny wasn't shown free-to-air in this country.

"They (the GAA) have enough money, how much money do they want? What about the people that supported the GAA all of their lives? I think it's disgraceful," said the 49-year-old.

Brutal. Mayo boss Andy Moran has hit back at Joe Brolly, after the pundit criticised his selection against Kerry earlier this month. Mayo were hammered 2-29 to 0-19 that day, with Brolly writing in his column that ex-player Moran was too reliant on his ‘old friends’ group’, referencing players such as Aidan O’Shea, Cillian O’Connor, […]
