Leinster have named Joey Carbery at full-back for the province's final game of the PRO14 regular season against Connacht.

After a week where Carbery and fly-half Ross Byrne were both linked with moves to Ulster to replace former fly-half Paddy Jackson, Leinster head coach Leo Cullen named Carbery at full-back. Elsewhere Tom Daly will partner soon to be Leinster centurion Noel Reid in the centres with Daly set to make his first appearance for the province this season after tearing his ACL in the pre-season game against Perpignan. Meanwhile Connacht will be bidding farewell to captain and number eight John Muldoon at the Sportsgrounds with the 35-year-old set to join Bristol next season as a coach. Muldoon will join Jarrad Butler and Eoin McKeon in the backrow while lock Gavin Thornbury has been selected ahead of Ultan Dillane in the second-row with Ireland international Quinn Roux set to partner him in the tight five.
