Former Munster captain Anthony Foley has been inducted into the Munster Hall of Fame while winger Keith Earls has been voted the province's player of the year.

The Hall of Fame award was accepted by Foley's wife Olive at the annual Munster Rugby Awards at the Clayton Hotel Silver Springs in Cork. Foley made 201 appearances for Munster and won 62 caps for Ireland while guiding his side to Heineken Cup wins in 2006 and 2008. Meanwhile Earls was named this year’s Munster Rugby Player of the Year after a hugely impressive season where he was also nominated for the Six Nations Player of the Tournament award following a Grand Slam winning campaign with Ireland. https://twitter.com/Munsterrugby/status/989157833290678272 Earls claimed the award ahead of second-row Jean Kleyn and centre Rory Scannell who were also nominated. The Ireland winger was also the first player in the province's history to win Academy Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Player of the Year throughout his career. Elsewhere centre Sammy Arnold was named as Young Player of the Year while the John McCarthy Award for Greencore Munster Rugby Academy Player of the Year went to Fineen Wycherley.
