Ever wondered what all the buttons and dials on an F1 steering wheel do? Wonder no more…

Okay, we’ll level with you, we find it a struggle to handle a normal five-speed gearbox and turn up the radio at the same time.

So if we were presented with this, the instrument that F1 drivers have to use to control their cars at terrifying speeds, well, we wouldn’t last too long.

The F1 steering wheel may be one of, if not the, most complex piece of equipment in any sport. Every year it seems to get more and more complex and the 2015 edition looks to be no different.

Sauber have kindly decided to try and help out the bewildered F1 fan by posting a picture of their 2015 wheel with lots of explanations for what the myriad of buttons and dials does.
