Championship leader quicker than title rival Rosberg in both sessions
Lewis Hamilton has laid down a marker to his championship rival Nico Rosberg by setting the quickest times in practice for Sunday's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix today.
The Englishman had 0.13 seconds to spare over his title rival in the first session and a 0.083 second margin in the second.
The two Mercedes were well clear of the chasing pack and it looks like qualifying tomorrow could be nail biting if both drivers bring today's form into tomorrows session .
Hamilton is 17 points clear of Rosberg and just needs to finish second even if Rosberg wins on Sunday to ensure of the title.
However with the issue of double points on offer there is sure to be plenty of drama left in this year's F1 season.
