Glynn missed out on Galway's 2016 season, opting to play football for the Exiles in New York.
It looked a shrewd decision as the talented 23-year-old almost helped his side to a historic victory over Roscommon in last year's Connacht Championship but were pipped by just two points.
Reports in the Irish Independent reveal that Glynn will now, in fact, be involved in the Galway senior hurling panel for 2017.
It is reported that Glynn has made the 3,000 km trip home to line out for his club, Ardrahan, in the Galway Senior Hurling Championship.
