The young English man didn't know what he got himself in for when he signed up to trade blows with John Joe Nevin in his first professional fight on Irish soil.
And it was a downright ambush.
The Westmeath man needed just 85 seconds to steamroll over the top of Heath as he frantically went at his opponent, roared on by a boisterous crowd in the 3 Arena, until the referee had no other option but to stop the fight in the first round.
In fact, Nevin was that vicious and better equipped that there were jeers even before the 80-second mark, calling on the ref to intervene and put Heath out of his misery as the outcome was inevitable from the first bell.
Big John Joe now takes his professional record to 3-0. And this wasn't a bad start to his professional career in Ireland either.
