We all know have that one friend in our lives who is an absolute wreckhead.
While we don’t think that Shannon Briggs and Wladimir Klitschko are the buddiest of buddies, the former continues to be a terrible irritant in the life of the latter.
Briggs has continued to publicly chase down the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion in a bid to set up a fight.
Shannon “The Cannon” has been balancing on the tightrope between admirably persistent and freakishly relentless for years as he’s interrupted press conferences, gatecrashed lunches and even knocked the Ukrainian off a paddle board last year.
And the latest in the litany of confrontations occurred this week when Briggs clashed with Klitschko in a Florida gym in the closest thing that’s come to the pair exchanging blows.
Evander Holyfield had to play peacekeeper in the face-off as Briggs simply won’t give up in his pursuit of a fight against “Dr. Steelhammer.”
We hope that a bout is organised at some stage and the production crew will have no shortage of footage when setting up promos.
