Ricky Burns couldn't believe it.
Even the bloody referee couldn't believe it.
Ahead of Luke Campbell and Tommy Coyle in Hull, Scotsman Burns got back to winning ways with the help of a bizarre decision from Ofotsu's corner who threw in the towel just as their man was getting on top.
The Ghana fighter was struggling against Burns and had been warned by his trainers to show something but, as he swung two punches and looked under no threat whatsoever in the fifth round, the towel was inexplicably flung in front of him and the referee was forced to end the fight - with puffed cheeks of disbelief, too.
Ofotsu looked dumbfounded at the decision and wasn't speaking to his corner after the fight.
It's hard not to feel pity for him. A crazy decision that even looked to disappoint Ricky Burns who was seemingly remonstrating with the opposition corner.
