We’ve found boxing’s most beautiful shirt… in Belfast

Jaw-droppingly gorgeous

When it comes to sports merchandise, less is generally more.

Simplicity really reigns supreme in the apparel game.

A design that’s too intricate or one that just has too much going on can end up resembling a real mess.

If you need a visual to fully understand that concept, look no further than the monstrosity former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez wore while making the long walk to the Octagon at UFC 104.

If your corneas are stinging from that frightful sight, please stay with us. We have the cure for what ails you courtesy of undefeated Belfast boxer Steven Ward.

The five-time senior Irish champion unveiled a new line of gear ahead of his next pro bout on the undercard of Carl Frampton vs Andres Gutierrez in Belfast’s SSE Arena on Saturday 29 July.

It’s a simple black design with white accents. Ward’s initials are emblazoned on the front and a smaller version of the logo with his moniker ‘The Quiet Man’ can be found on the back.

For the cold winter months that require a longer sleeve, he also has a jumper that follows a similar design.

The hat ain’t half bad either.
