Mike Tyson sums up the world's reaction to Mayweather v Pacquiao perfectly
The most anticipated fight of the modern era turned out to be a bit of a let down.
While Floyd Mayweather proved his brilliance as a pugilist yet again with his dominant decision victory over Manny Pacquiao, it wasn't quite the slugfest fans hoped to see.
Money put on a tactical masterclass to avoid the power of Pac-Man and stick and move his way to a points victory. It was certainly an impressive performance by the champ, but the world wasn't so enthralled by the less-than-climactic scrap, after all the pre-fight hype.
What was built up to be the Fight of the Century turned out to be a relatively easy win for Mayweather, and the world was not too pleased about it. Here is how the good people of Twitter reacted to an underwhelming fight in the MGM Grand Arena.

@RealCJ10 Didn't waste my money. From the sounds of it, it was money well saved.

Ok fight. Best part was Jimmy Kimmel coming out dressed as Bieber with a PacMan t shirt eating mini Mayweather heads.

Floyd Mayweather is an incredible fighter, but he just bored me out of $100. #MayPac

Ordered a steak and got a salad. #MayPac

Pacquiao just is not the same whirling dervish he once was. The willingness to throw for three rounds just isn't there. Physical, mental?

Manny says he thought he won the fight.

A hell of a lot of people compared Mayweather to Chelsea after final bell.

MayWeather is the Mourinho version of a boxer. You don't have to like his style but he get things done one way or the other #MayPac

Floyd Mayweather boxes just like Chelsea plays football

A Chelsea style tactically-perfect master class by Mayweather. Hardly broke sweat. Shame. Would have loved to see him knocked out though.

Boring boring Mayweather/ Chelsea* (Delete as appropriate).
