The most anticipated fight of the modern era turned out to be a bit of a let down.
While Floyd Mayweather proved his brilliance as a pugilist yet again with his dominant decision victory over Manny Pacquiao, it wasn’t quite the slugfest fans hoped to see.
Money put on a tactical masterclass to avoid the power of Pac-Man and stick and move his way to a points victory. It was certainly an impressive performance by the champ, but the world wasn’t so enthralled by the less-than-climactic scrap, after all the pre-fight hype.
What was built up to be the Fight of the Century turned out to be a relatively easy win for Mayweather, and the world was not too pleased about it. Here is how the good people of Twitter reacted to an underwhelming fight in the MGM Grand Arena.
