Clarkson's corner threw the towel in during the 3rd round as Taylor cruised to her U.S. debut win in Brooklyn.
This now means that Taylor, who is promoted by Eddie Hearn, moves to 6-0 in her professional boxing record with a world title shot a serious possibility by the end of the year.
