Heavyweight boxer Kubrat Pulev comes in for criticism for kissing reporter in post-fight interview

Kubrat Pulev has been slammed for his behaviour following his victory over Bogdan Dinu last weekend.

Pulev stopped Dinu seven rounds into the heavyweight contest, moving to 27-1 in the process.

The Bulgarian fighter, who most fans will remember from his defeat to Wladimir Klitschko in 2014, has come in for criticism for finishing a post-fight interview with a female reporter with an unexpected kiss on her lips.

Pulev was discussing the fight, in which he suffered a nasty cut above his left eye, and was exploring future opponents in what seemed to be a relatively routine interview up until the final few seconds.

The reporter, who goes by the name Jenny Sushe according to the Daily Mail, had just asked Pulev about a potential future clash with undefeated Brit Tyson Fury when the Bulgarian grabbed her face and kissed her.

After laughing uncomfortably about the incident, the Vegas Sports Daily interviewer exclaimed "Jesus Christ" as she switched the camera off.

While fans have condemned Pulev's behaviour, Sushe's only reaction on social media has seen her label the exchange "embarrassing" and "strange."

Pulev was scheduled to fight Anthony Joshua in 2017 but picked up an injury during fight camp and failed to make it to the ring. Apart from his defeat to Klitschko, Pulev's highest-profile fights to date have seen him beat the likes of Dereck Chisora, Hughie Fury and Kevin Johnson.
