50-year-old dies in shooting incident in Bray

Gardaí can confirm that a 50-year-old man has died following a shooting incident.

It took place in Bray, Co. Wicklow on Tuesday morning. The body of the deceased remains at the scene pending the arrival of the State Pathologist and a technical examination of the area is being carried out by Garda Crime Scene Examiners. Two other men, aged 35 and 57, who were injured in the incident have been taken to hospital. RTÉ are reporting that Peter Taylor, gym owner and father of world champion Katie, is among the injured party. Following examination of CCTV in the area, the Gardaí are now appealing for information regarding the silver coloured Volkswagen Caddy with Northern Irish plates that fled the scene.
