WATCH: Police officer kicks Viktor Troicki and Bernard Tomic off court at Citi Open

Not the friendliest of coppers

Darragh Murphy

You do NOT play tennis in the rain on this cop’s watch.

At the Citi Open in Washington, Viktor Troicki and Bernard Tomic tried to do just that as they ignored the forecast rain warnings to exchange a few shots on the practice court.

That was too much for this DC police officer who took to the court and ordered both players off, rather aggressively it must be said.

As the pair of tennis stars tried to argue their case and claim that they were content to stay out in the rain, they were quickly told to get lost.
