Vine: Gary Anderson comes back in style from the most unlucky shot in Darts history

It literally couldn't have gone any worse

Ben Kiely

Poor Gary Anderson must have thought he was in some sort of nightmare during the World Darts final tonight

The Flying Scotsman, who is currently slugging it out with legendary Darts player Phil “The Power” Taylor was one dart away from 180 when disaster struck. His third dart knocked the other two off the board, giving him a big fat zero from all three throws. Taylor, ever the professional, added insult to injury by immediately firing back with 180, and the next two legs.

However, Anderson made a Lazarus-like return to claim the following three legs to take the set. At the time of writing, Anderson took home the following set and after much back and forthbattles with Taylor, eventually took home the World Championship title.
