Rightly, the Boston Celtic was ejected immediately
While it obviously isn't as bad as spitting at someone (for full details on the hierarcy of sporting evilness, check here) a punch in the balls is simply not the done thing. And while we have seen all manner of sly flicks and 'accidental' contacts over the years, we don't think we have ever seen such a full blooded effort as this one from last night's NBA game between the Boston Celtics and the San Antonio Spurs. After fighting through one screen, Smart decides that he isn't going to go around Matt Bonner too and decides to absolutely lash him with an uppercut to the family jewels. Bonner proved he is a tougher man than us by standing up and not rolling around crying on the ground and Smart gets ejected.
