Mick Fanning should go out and buy a lotto ticket, go down to his local casino to the slots, or chance his luck with that very very hot woman at the bar after this incredible escape on live TV.
Fanning was in action at Jefferys Bay in a world tour event today when a shark attacked him in the water and chewed through his leg rope.
Well at least it wasn’t his leg.
The surfer was taken out of the water straight away and gave a harrowing account of what he experienced on the beach afterwards
“It came up and got stuck in my leg rope.
“I instantly just jumped away. It kept coming at my board and I was kicking and screaming. I just saw fins. I didn’t see teeth. I was waiting for the teeth to come at me. I punched it in the back.”
