What a move for Kelleher.
Brentford have agreed a deal with Liverpool to sign Ireland goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
The transfer fee is initially £12.5m with add-ons bringing it up to £18m.
A move away from Liverpool, where Kelleher is behind first-choice Allison, has long been mooted for the 26-year-old, and this transfer to Brentford seems like the perfect situation for the keeper.
The Bees are seen as well-run and well-coached side, managed by the much-lauded Thomas Frank, who punch above their weight.
For the receiving club it is a great match, with keeper Mark Flekken moving to Bayer Leverkusen for around £11m.
Football fans also reckon that it is a shrewd piece of business, and that Liverpool have sold him for cheaper than what he is worth.
Would love to know the breakdown of the package, a lot of reports of it being a much lower fee (£12.5M) – fantastic business for Brentford, good luck to all involved

That’s a great deal for Brentford. What is Liverpool thinking?

Ireland manager Heimir Hallgrimsson has also been open about his want for the keeper to be playing regularly.
He said: “I just want him to go to a club where he will play on a regular basis.
“He has been playing at the highest level, whether it’s the Champions League or the Premier League, and done really well. I just want him to be happy and playing regularly.
“I know he wants to be playing at the highest level. I guess – I don’t know for sure – he will be playing at the highest level.
“He has spoken about that himself. I don’t mind [where], so long as he’s playing on a regular basis because he is too good not to be playing.”
