The American found her own request laughable as she asked the umpire if it was legal to order an Espresso.
The umpire was feeling generous and permitted the request and sent a ball girl to fetch the coffee.
The caffeine boost clearly worked as Williams went on to take the match 0-6,6-3, 6-0.
We have to start drinking more coffee.
