VIDEO: Rugby league player pranks coach into thinking he has put on a few pounds

Classic dressing room banter

Geoff Toovey is a man after our own heart – if you see a weighing scale, you have to hop on for a look.

The Manly Sea Eagles coach was amusing himself with a sneaky weigh-in, last night, before his team took on the Brisbane Broncos, when he fell victim to a top prank.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - JUNE 27: Brett Stewart (C) of the Sea Eagles celebrates victory with Steve Matai (L) and Daly Cherry-Evans (R) at the end of the round 16 NRL match between the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and the Sydney Roosters at Brookvale Oval on June 27, 2014 in Sydney, Australia. One of the Sea Eagles [Kieran Foran by the looks of it] snuck up behind him and, suddenly, Toovey was concocting a new diet regime.

Top marks for banter.

As for the game itself, the Broncos piled on the points as Manly were throttled 44-10.
