Roger Federer couldn't be mortal.
The 17-time grand slam winner added another trophy to his cabinet today just for the craic when he beat Milos Raonic to claim the Brisbane International title. In doing so, clinching a win that took his career record to four figures.
Federer becomes just the third player in the Open Era to hit the 1,000 mark, joining company with Jimmy Connors and Evan Lendi. At just 33, you wouldn't put it past the Swiss closing in on Lendi who sits 71 wins ahead. If he ever got near Connors' record of 1,253, we will start a new Federer religion and convert.
ATP World Tour released this brilliant montage to the king to mark his phenomenal achievement.

Just for fun, here's a clip of Federer making himself gorgeous for the presentation.
And if you really can't get enough of Roger, here are the full highlights of his 1,000th win. Incredible.
